The Baltes Family

Baltes is French for Baltic or it could be a shortened version of Balthazar. My Baltes ancestors have been traced back to 1535 when they lived in Saarland.

Catherine Baltes Braun is my GGgrandmother and her daughter Catherine married Francis Hannigan -- Gerald's mother and father. Catherine would say her family was from Trier, but she was born in Britten, about 30km away
